The Last Samurai

The Last Samurai is an amazing movie with outstanding performances by both Tom Cruise and the amazing Japanese actor Ken Watanabe. The Last Samurai is a film about a famous American captain who is sent to Japan to train the Japanese army and defeat the samurai. Nathan Algren, which is the name of the captain, is captured by the samurai and taken to their village up in the mountains until spring. Algren learns to love the way of the samurai and he befriends the m and becomes a samurai, the Japanese then attack the samurai again with more force and that is what this movie is about. I really enjoyed this movie. I loved how good Tom Cruise was in this movie but he still was not the strongest performer in this film, Ken Watanabe was the strongest character and I hope to see more of him. I recommend this movie to Tom Cruise fans and to fans of historical movies or fans of war movies, this movie is pretty much perfect in every way. This is a very bloody film and should only be watched by kids ages 14+.

I, Robot

I, Robot is based of of a classic book of short stories, I have never read the book but I did watch this amazing Will Smith movie. Will Smith is one of my favorite actors he can be funny, and he can be serious like in this movie. This movie was a real thrill ride an I enjoyed that a lot because I am a big fan of thrillers. This movie is about a futuristic cop who is looking at a case, the man who created the robots comitted suicide but that is not what Will Smith thinks he thinks that one of the robots killed him. There is far more to the movie than that but if I told you anything else I might spoil the film, I very much enjoyed this movie and recommend it to all fans of thrillers and all fans of Will Smith. This movie should be OK for kids 12+ because there is some nudity in it and some jump scare scenes.

The Grey

The Grey is another badass Liam Neeson thriller but this time he is not trying to find his daughter, not this time he is stuck up in Alaska killing wolves. Liam is great in this movie and so were all the other guys. The wolves are really scary because they pop out and brutally kill people, Liam Neeson is one of the best actors out there and he shows it in this movie. There were many thrills and a lot of blood and language but overall this movie was pretty good. You don't really care for any of the characters except for Liam because the other guys are stupid but the movie was still good and should be watched by Liam Neeson fans and fans of good thriller movies. This movie should be OK for kids 15+.

Mad Max Fury Road

I have not seen the older Mad Max movies but this one looked pretty good so I went on and saw it, this is what a true action movie should be like! Mad Max Fury Road was amazing with tons of car chase scenes and tons of action it was literally non-stop action. Tom Hardy was so cool in this movie I loved him! George Miller really knows how to make an action movie and he is not afraid to do anything with it. This movie was so fast-paced that it makes every other movie look like they are super slow. If you want an action movie just watch this and you will totally not be disappointed by this crazy thrill ride through a crazy desert. This movie should be OK for kids 13+.

Insurgent

Insurgent is the next movie in the Divergent series these movies are based off of the amazing books by Veronica Roth. I did not write o review off of the first movie because I did not like it but this one was pretty good. It was a good thriller and it had cool visual effects Insurgent is the best book in the series and it may just be the best movie too! The movie was not as good as the book but it was still a very entertaining thrill ride. Shailene Woodley is a very beautiful and a very good actress and I really like how good she is in this movie. There was plenty of action and plenty of thrills to go around in this movie and there is a lot of great acting. This movie was not as good as I thought it would be but it still was a pretty good movie and it should be OK for kids 11+.

The Patriot

The Patriot is an amazing film about the American Revolution directed my Roland Emmerich this movie just was amazing. Mel Gibson stars in another great war movie but this movie I believe is better than Braveheart. The freedom fighters in this are better and just make me like this movie better, The Patriot was a very bloody film though, there was a lot of limbs falling off and it was just very gory. It was amazing though and I'm glad that I bought this movie and I'm even more happier that I watched the epic war movie last night. I give this a ten out of ten it was amazing! Should be OK for kids 15+.

Seventh Son

Seventh Son was a fantasy movie that I was actually excited for but it ended up being a huge dissapointment. I still liked the movie but it is not what I wanted, Jeff Bridges is a really fun actor and I really liked him in this movie. Ben Barnes' character was boring and I did not like him at all in this movie. I love fantasy movies but this one was not as fun as The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings but I just did not like this movie too much. The only reason I liked this movie was because Jeff Bridges' character was really fun. Overall Seventh Son was just a big disapointment even thought it was a fantasy movie. Should be OK for kids 11+

Chappie

Chappie was an amazing sci-fi movie and I really enjoyed it, it had a lot of action and the robot Chappie was really cute. I felt sorry for Chappie a lot because he was beaten a lot  and he was mistreated a lot too. But overall the movie was an amazing thriller movie, Chappie was so cute he was like a baby and I really enjoyed how he was made and that was the biggest reason why I liked this movie. Hugh Jackman was the bad guy in this movie and Sharlto Copley was Chappie and he did a really good job in being the cute robot. This is a very bloody movie and should not be watched by kids under 14.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

This is the most amazing romance movie ever made, I loves this movie! It is the first movie to make me cry Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett really know how to capture the audience in this cunning romance movie. It is a bout a man who ages backwards and falls in love with a girl and she watches him grow young and he watches her grow old. This movie is so sad and so good I think it deserves all the Oscars in the world and should be everybody's favorite romance. Good job everybody who made this phenomonal romance movie!

The Longest Ride

I don't normally watch romance movies but when I do I normally do not fall for them and I think they are stupid, but I totally fell for this movie. The Longest Ride was a very good and a very romantic movie and I enjoyed my self while watching this movie. I am just now starting to get into romance movies and this movie shows that I am. It is not my favorite romance movie but it is still a good one, I really like Britt Robertson she is an amazing actress and did outstanding in this movie. Scott Eastwood did good too in being Britt's boyfriend. I like how it shows to romance stories in one movie, one from back in the 1940's and one in modern day North Carolina. This is one of the best romance movies ever and I recommend it to you romance lovers

R.I.P.D

RIPD was pretty much a remake of Men in Black and I like Men in Black so I liked this one, the critics did not like this movie at all but I thought it was fun. There were a lot of funny moments in this movie and that is pretty much the only reason I liked it. I love Jeff Bridges and he did a good job even in a movie like this. Ryan Reynolds was the main character in this movie and I liked him a lot too. The visual effects were not that great but the comedy in this film was fun and I had a pretty fun time when I was watching this movie.

Spider-Man vs. The Amazing Spider-Man

Spider-Man is one of the worlds most favorite super-heroes, he is cool and has some really cool powers. In this review I will determine which movies are better the Spider-Man trilogy or The Amazing Spider-Man movies. First I have to say who I thought was a better Peter Parker, in Spider-Man it was Toby Maguire but in The Amazing Spider-Man it was Andrew Garfield. Both actors did outstanding jobs in being Peter Parker, in the comics Peter is a geek and Toby Maguire is a real geek so that is one point for Spider-Man. Now the better Spider-Man was Andrew because the actor is just a really cool guy and so is Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man movies had a better Spider-Man. Now the last thing that will determine the best movies is which movies were better, the first two Spider-Man movies were completley stupid and I hated them. But Spider-Man 3 was really cool and made me like Spider-Man the hero. The first Amazing Spider-Man movie was truly amazing and I liked it a lot but the second movie sucked. So I say The Amazing Spider-Man was better than the Spider-Man trilogy.

Snow White and the Huntsman

Snow White and the Huntsman is a twisted version of Snow White, it is a very dark version of Snow White but I thought it was pretty entertaining. Chris Hemsworth is the huntsman and he does a pretty good job at it, he kicks butt in this movie and was a pretty cool character in this movie. Snow White has to kill the evil queen in this movie, she raises an army and attacks the castle at the end of the movie. The battle at the end was really cool and I very much enjoyed it, Kristen Stuart is Snow White and does a pretty good job at it. Normally Kristen Stuart is a boring actress but she actually did an amazing job and made me have a heck of a good time while watching this amazing, twisted tale about Snow White and the Huntsman. This movie should be OK for kids 11+ for it is a a pretty dark movie.

Mortdecai

Mortdecai was a pretty funny movie, Johnny Depp really knows what he's doing when he's on set and he still shows that in this funny movie. Mr. Mortdecai and his manservant are on a hunt for a stolen painting that contains the key to a lost Nazi gold. Watch this hilarious movie and you will not be dissapointed by this comedy especially when it has one of the best actors in the world Johnny Depp. Gwenyth Paltrow is also in this movie and takes on the roll of Mrs. Mortdecai. This movie should be OK for kids 12+ because it is a rated R comedy movie.

San Andreas

I went into this movie and did not know why I was there, earthquakes destroying everything seriously I did not hate the movie as much as I thought I would though. San Andreas was a movie with Dwayne Johnson, and Paul Giamatti. it had plenty of destruction but it failed to make me happy. It was visually acceptable but it was very cheesy, a girl fell in love with a boy in about one hour of surviving together seriously! San Andreas is a movie that I will not be watching again. Should be OK for kids 11+ for there is quite a bit of language.

Tomorrowland

Tomorrowland was a fun Disney movie with George Clooney and Britt Robertson, I went to this movie and did not know what to expect so I was all in on this movie. I enjoyed this movie and thought it was a very well made movie about the future and stuff like that. Tomorrowland is a movie that you could see with your whole family and it is a movie that even adults would enjoy. The critics did not like this movie very well but I did and I say you should give it a try, George Clooney did an excellent job in this movie. Britt Robertson did an amazing job and brought this fun movie to life! Tomorrowland should be OK for kids 9+.

Jupiter Ascending

Jupiter Ascending was a movie about a normal young woman who figures out she's the rightful queen of Jupiter from an alien man. Then she has to protect Earth from this bad guy and it goes on like that, Jupiter Ascending had pretty good graphics but the movie just splattered itself all over the wall by going from one thing to the next. Channing Tatum was in it and so was Mila Kunis and Sean Bean. I did not enjoy this movie that much but it was not as bad as Transcendence was, Jupiter Ascending overall was a normal space movie about something that's it. Should be OK for kids 11+ for there are 2 nude scenes in it.

Jurassic World

What a grand remake of the Jurassic Park movies!! I love this movie and I loved everything about this amazing dinosaur movie. Chris Pratt is one of the funnest actors ever and he took on the role of Owen Grady the velociraptor trainer who has to stop the newly bred Inndominous Rex. I think all of you know what this movie is about so I will just tell you what I thought about it, I did not really like the old Jurassic Park movies but I still got excited when I heard a new one was coming out. Jurassic World was darker than the first movies but far better and had much better graphics than the old movies. Go see this movie and you will not be disappointed, it should be OK for kids 10+ unless they get scared easily.

Transcendence

Transcendence is a movie that makes no sense and is really boring, Johnny Depp is one of the best actors alive and he still was in this ridiculous movie. I almost fell asleep during this what ever you call it, the movie did not even know what it was about. I love Johnny Depp, but every actor is in some dumb movie and this was his. Save your selves and don't watch Transcendence it will only be a waste of your time! I have nothing else to say about this thing.

The Lone Ranger

The Lone Ranger is a very fun movie the old TV show was for kids but the movie is not really for kids. It is a very dark version of The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp, I for one loved this movie a lot but I do not recommend it to little kids. There are plenty of funny moments and there is a lot of action in this movie too. I love modern western movies and this one was very entertaining and very fun. Armie Hammer did a great job in being The Lone Ranger and I will totally be watching it again. This movie should be OK for kids 11+ unless they get scared easily, but if your kid is 10 and not afraid of movies like this than that could be OK too.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Marvel is back with an all new super hero movie, finally a new kind of Marvel movie. Guardians of the Galaxy is an amazing Marvel movie and shows that Marvel will be going on until the end of the world. This movie was Star Wars with super heroes and it was amazing I loved these brand new super heroes. Chris Pratt was Star-Lord whom I never heard of until I watched this movie, Zoe Saldana changed from being blue in Avatar to being the green Gamora. Groot a giant tree was in it, Rocket a talking racoon, and so was a big killer named Drax. Together these guys made a funny adventure through space to fight Ronan. Guardians of the Galaxy shuld be OK for kids 10+.

Blackhat

I'm sorry I haven't been posting reviews but I was pretty busy so I did not have time to write reviews but know I can and I will. Blackhat is a movie with Chris Hemsworth about a cyber terrorist that is doing a lot of bad things. Chris Hemsworth is in jail but is the only one who can stop the cyber terrorist, so a group of detectives and hackers let him out of jail so he can help them. He does help them and Blackhat ended up being a pretty good movie it did not have a lot of action but when it did it was a really cool action scene. The battle at the end of the movie was intense and amazing, I enjoyed this movie but it is not a movie worth buying. Blackhat is a thrilling cybercrime thriller and it was a pretty enjoyable movie. Could be OK for ages 12+ since it is rated R.
